Community
ADempiere is a community-based product which is not developed by one single vendor with exclusive rights. This ensures that new versions too are free.
Platform
ADempiere is based on Java and can alternatively be used via a Java client or a web browser. Since Java is applied for almost all operating systems and web browsers are based on cross-platform programming, every operating system – both on the client and server-side – is supported.
